Laura GriffinLaura Griffin

Writer

Laura was raised on a healthy diet of literature by her parents and advertising from the impending world. As a child, she would turn up the ad breaks on the TV and meticulously read every segment on cereal boxes, fascinated by the messages.

While studying a Bachelor of Communication at the University of Canberra, Laura was amazed at how well considered messages could change people’s thinking and affect our culture. She loved that advertising could give new life to business and present new ideas to the world.

After university, Laura worked for the Federal Government, writing correspondence for the public. Wanting to pursue something more creative, she became a copywriter for Canberra FM where she wrote a variety of successful adverts and became the requested writer for many clients including the ACT Government’s Centenary campaign.

Today, Laura is delighted to be teamed up with wordED where she can concentrate on what she loves most... writing.
